WSMI NIGHT ROCK. They played rock music from 6 to 12. We couldn’t get great rock music from the St Louis area back then. When they came on at night every car radio was set to it.

J.C. Cochoran - I know a lot of you hate him, but hey, even Ty Cobb and O.J. Simpson are represented in their respective "Hall Of Fames". J.C. should be recognized here, not just for the many hours of entertainment he provided on the St. Louis airwaves, but, also because, he shined a very bright light on St. Louis whenever he had the opportunity and brought it to the attention of the rest of the country and the world. Just for his appearances on David Letterman (which brought the phrase, "The Mets are pond scum", to the rest of the world) and his appearance on Sally Jesse Raphael and his trip to Russia - St. Louis owes him just a modicum of respect and gratitude.
Stonehenge - In addition to the numerous great local bands who performed there in the 70's & 80's (i.e. Mama's Pride, A Full Moon Consort, Faustus, Media, Boyfriend, Island, Driver, Ferrari, Intense, Candy, etc.), Stonehenge hosted many national and international acts as well, including - New Riders Of The Purple Sage, Elvin Bishop, Dwight Twilley, Greg Kihn, John Kay & Steppenwolf, etc.
Dick Richmond (concert reviewer for the St. Louis Post Dispatch). His personal relationship with Sammy Hagar led directly to Sammy's incredible popularity in St. Louis, which continues to this day. He cultivated other lifelong friendships with other "KSHE Classic" artists, including Harry Chapin, Roger Boyd (Head East), David Surkamp (Pavlov's Dog) and J.D. Blackfoot, which, also, contributed to success in their musical careers, here in St. Louis, as well as both nationally and Internationally,

R. Scott Bryan - St. Louis resident/native. Played with virtually everyone in ST. Louis. Toured nationally with Sheryl Crow during early 90's, played venues with Allman Brothers. Most recently toured with the Allman Betts Band. Played on stage with Eric Clapton, Chuck Levell, The Allman Brothers Band, Sheryl Crow, Don Henlyand many others. Played the 25th Anniversary of Woodstock with Crow, been on The Tonight Show, "On The Road" on VH1, recorded at Muscle Shoals with Devon Allman and the Allman Betts band. In the "All I Wanna Do" Sheryl Crow ground breaking video. Tons of other stuff... he's a hometown boy very well known to all of the major music players in ST. Louis. Currently working with a cancer diagnosis, looking forward to getting back on the road with Devon Allman... Scott is 68 years old, still touring and still doing it!
